The Craziness

I have to apologize to everyone, as I have been so busy lately. I have been working on school work and trying to get through the last part of this section in the class, and hopefully take the final soon. I have been also working extra hard to promote and update my new Facebook page for my business, Pitcher's Boutique. On top of all that, I have been packaging up blocks for a swap, put my Moms birthday gift together (still need to mail it), and lastly decorate the house for Halloween.

I promise when I get a few minutes Ill try my best to upload a ton of stuff. Its just been crazy.

Thank you to everyone who has been stopping by, reading my posts and or watching/reading tutorials. Please check out my Pitcher's Boutique FB page and Etsy shop!

I am finally off to sleep, I am exhausted and will be up in roughly 6 hours to run an errand.

Thanks again to all my wonderful supporters and viewers/readers.

See You All Soon,
Sarah

August Give Thanks, Week 5

August 29:
Thankful to have my craft room back to functioning order, and even had a chance to work on my hexi quilt. Its so nice to get rid of tons of stuff I know I don't need, or never will use. I am thankful that I can pass those items onto someone who might actually use them.

New storage for under the cutting table (took these out of the closet).

Put both bookcases together to make it a wall of fabric.

From the door, when you walk in. Finally done and ready for me to sew in.

From the window. The room feels bigger, and flows so much better.
August 30:
Thankful that my wonderful husband took the kids to the grocery store and let me catch a few extra minutes of sleep. I accidentally fell asleep on the couch while the boys watched a movie, and when I woke up they boys were all gone. Felt nice to get some extra sleep, since I haven't been feeling well.

August 31:
So thankful that one of my closest friends from southern California was able to stop off at our house for the night, chit chat, and head back on the road. She was on a little trip from Oregon, and I am just so glad we could catch up and talk. I miss her so much. I look forward to seeing her hopefully soon.

Give Thanks,
Sarah

July Give Thanks, Week 4

July 22:
Thankful today for the connection I never expect to have. I never thought this one person I would ever have a connection with, and today proved I was so wrong. Its great to realize we are wrong and that friendships can come from anywhere.

July 23:
Thankful that my 1 year old still wants to take a nap on my chest. As a mother, those are the best moments ever.

July 24:
Attempted making my own labels and sewing them on to my projects today. SOOO Thankful they worked! Best feeling ever.

July 25:
Thankful for a wonderful neighbor who can bring her kids over and let them play, while we have some grown up conversation. I am thankful for the "normal" conversation.

July 26:
Thankful for a wonderful husband who watched the kids all day, while letting me sew a quilt together! Happy quilting mommy.

July 27:
Thankful for the chocolate chips that are currently being made by my husband, and being consumed by the rest of us. YUM!

July 28:
Simply thankful for a great appointment that went a lot better then I ever could have expected.

Give Thanks,
Sarah

July Give Thanks, Week 3

July 15:
Thankful to have a block swapping group to be apart of! I have always wanted to block swap (for quilting) with someone or a group. I did one in Okinawa, when we were stationed there, and loved it! Now I am excited to try some new techniques!!!

July 16:
I am thankful for my quilting/sewing room. Somedays its my only escape from reality.

July 17:
My little man is picking up on so many new signs. I am so thankful and happy he is enjoying signing, because it sure does make it a lot easier to understand what he wants.

July 18:
Thankful for 12 straight hours of sleep. I needed that!

July 19:
Today is my older sisters birthday, and I am thankful for her and everything she has done for me. We have never been as close as we are now, and I am so lucky to have her as my amazing, supportive, and wonderful sister. Happy Birthday Rach!

July 20:
Finished up all the minor details on the ring sling, and am so thankful its working out great for us. Jared is loving it, and so am I!

July 21:
Finally, I got some block swap blocks laid out. Thankful that I had enough energy and will power to stay up later to get a few set up and on my design wall.

Give Thanks,
Sarah
