August 8:
Thankful for wonderful neighbors who will come over and ask if we want to hangout, have dinner with them, and also who care and are genuinely wonderful kind caring friends.
August 9:
Thankful for quick easy simple microwave/oven meals that all you do is punch in a number and bam, its ready! I can not tell you how much I did not want to cook tonight.
August 10:
I am by far and forever thankful for my wonderful husband and kids. It
was a wonderful day of family time and a little shopping as well, but
the memories we are making will hopefully last a life time.
August 11:
Thankful for my husband spoiling me with starbucks coffee! He is the best, and really knows how to make a bad day better with starbucks. He is such a keeper.
August 12:
Today I am so thankful for adult conversation. You do not understand how nice it is to talk to another adult about absolutely nothing and everything; instead of a 2 year old and 1 year old! Best day ever.
August 13:
Today I am thankful for my Mother in law. She has been an amazing MIL to me, and a wonderful grandma to my kids. I really lucked out when I married my husband. Happy Birthday Corinne!
August 14:
Thankful for all my wonderful friends and family who helped lift my spirits today. I appreciated every single one.
Give Thanks,
Sarah

July Give Thanks, Week 5
July 29:
Today we celebrate my little brothers birthday!!! Happy Birthday David. Thankful that you are my brother and that you have taught me so much about life, family, and friendships. I love you!
July 30:
The twenty or so minutes that my wonderful neighbor chatted with me, outside our houses (after the kids went to bed), and let me vent and discuss whatever; thank you so much. I am so thankful for those moments of adult conversation and interaction. They may be few and far in between, but they are well needed and deserved.
July 31:
Thankful for nap time, where my wonderful kids nap together for a few hours while I sew and finish up projects. Yes, yes, yes!
Give Thanks,
Sarah

April Giving Thanks, Week 1
April 1:
Pulling a pair of jeans on an realizing you can button them for the first time in six, yes, SIX years! Now that, is something AMAZING to be thankful for. A pair of jeans; I can not believe actually fit me. Don't believe me here you go:
April 2:
After hours and hours of running errands, being at the Dr.s office, cleaning the house, unloading groceries, and screaming/crying children; it feels amazing and melts my heart to see my two kids watch frozen (calmly) and be so kind and loving towards each other. I am thankful for just that.
April 3:
I am thankful for my few minutes (ok maybe it was a few hours) of being able to sew a quilt and feel so much joy, knowing the baby who will be wrapped up in it!
April 4:
Thankful for a great doctor visit, for Jared, and everything is well. Feels great.
April 5:
Family day at the zoo, and enjoyed every second of it. Thankful for such a wonderful day together, and could not have asked for a better day.
April 6:
Thankful today for the hour or so that we got with our neighbors, just hanging out and letting the kids run around. Felt great. I think I needed that mommy/adult chit chat.
April 7:
Seeing a doctor to make sure everything is OK! Thankful for the health care right here on base and "free" to us. Its nice to know I am feeling taken care of.
Give Thanks,
Sarah
